Hero of Banished Scoundrel #Shapeshifter #ASMSG #Erotica

I played a vital role in the Banished Hero. If not for me Havyn and Faye Lynn would never have returned to Ardenia.

But you know what a prude Havyn is, he wouldn't let me near Faye Lynn.

Her naked body and shapeshifter blood called to the lust in mine. If I'd only found her first.

But I understood why the woman captured Havyn's attention.

She looks a little like Meriel, his first love. Same build. Petite, yet her hips and bosom can support the weight of bearing many offspring.

Oh, the smell of her -- a male shape-shifter’s wet dream.

Rock-hard, I thought about fighting Havyn for her. But the man is a beast and I didn't want to go up against him. Instead, I decided to use the situation to my advantage.

Just part of being an industrious young man.

Having Havyn in my debt was worth losing the girl.

Hell, for a chance to get back into Ardenia. I'd have taken him to the portal.

But alas, my adventure was to find Faye Lynn's sister.

“You tell me,” Tom said. “Do you deserve a spanking?”

In this case Cassie is determine to have her way – and so is Tom, the final decision may change life on the river forever.

Excerpt

The doors were open and I called down the hall from the bedroom that I was nearly ready to put on my dress. Moments later I came out of the bath to see Tom standing in the bedroom doorway. No one wears a tux better than my Tom. He was stunning. The look on his face was one of questioning. As he stepped into the room I saw that he was holding his belt in his hand.
I think I let out a small gasp and instinctively reached around and put my hands protectively over my bottom. Even my hands there caused a little pain. Tom was demanding nothing, he was simply offering. It was my choice. I could walk over, give Tom a kiss and remove the belt from his hand. Tom only came in with the belt because he knows what it does to me. My heart was pounding as I stood looking at him.
It felt like the air was tingling around me. I didn’t think, I just went around to the far side of the bed, grabbed a pillow and folded myself over the edge. Tom lifted up the delicate robe and folded it over my back and ran his fingers gently over his waiting and willing target.
The first crack of the belt sent me soring. The pain radiated out, but pleasure danced in its wake. I heard the belt whistle and the mixture of pain and pleasure coursed through me again. Tom used the belt one last time and I was melting into the bed. How can the combination of pain and pleasure be so completely intertwined? Tom rubbed my back as I came to myself, intentionally not touching my bottom. He didn’t want to lessen the flaming feeling he had reignited – he wanted it to go to the party with me. I stood slowly my hands going back on their own until Tom grabbed and stopped them. “Leave it,” he told me quietly.

Meet PK Corey

I’m a small town southern writer, happily married to my best friend for thirty-two years now. We have two grown children and we're learning to love the empty nest. Next year will see the end of a long and satisfying teaching career and I'm anxious to spend more time writing. I didn't grow up with the desire to be a writer, but I did love to daydream. As a child, I spent most of my spare time, and quite a bit of time when I should have been doing schoolwork, either reading or making up stories. I was actual quite young when Cassie wandered into my head and began telling me her story. I've always been drawn to spanking stories, but I need a true love story with it. That's how I see Cassie and Tom - a true love story with spanking thrown in.

Questions

So first, of course, the obvious question. How did you become a writer?

I’ve made up stories in my head since I was very young. I remember making up my first spanking story around the age of four. I never actually wrote any stories down until I was in my late forties and I began to blog. Readers were very encouraging and I finally submitted my first book, Cassie’s Space in 2013.

Tell me about your latest release

Cassie Corralled is the eighth in the Cassie Space series. This book continues the adventures of a couple who actively practice domestic discipline and have through out their forty-year marriage. This was always the type story I loved – a husband who loves his wife more than anything else in his life, but doesn’t hesitate to put her over his knee for a sound spanking if she puts herself in danger or is less than truthful with him. Through it all the love story is first.

Are you like any of your heroines?

A definite yes and no. Sometimes I think I gave too much of myself to Cassie – she can be fiery and hot headed, she’s fearless and strong. Since Cassie comes from me I feel these are my traits too – but it’s only as I’ve gotten older I feel I’ve given myself permission to be more like Cassie.

How many books have you written? Are they all spanking fiction?

I’ve published eight in the Cassie’s Space series. They are all spanking fiction, it’s what I understand and enjoy writing.

Are you okay in your kink?

I’m not only okay, I’m proud. I’m a born spanko who, like so many of us, hid it most my life. Once I embraced it, when reached a point where I don’t have to hide my true self from anyone, I’ve been much happier. I don’t go out and preach it on the street corner, but I can certainly hold my own in a conversation where someone is calling it unnatural or abusive.

Do you have a specific writing style?

I need to see and hear what’s going on with my characters. My husband teases me about saying I’m going to go write and he sees me in the recliner with my eyes closed. He thinks I’m sleeping when I’m actually watching what’s happening and afterwards I just write what I saw (ok, sometimes I’m sleeping).

How did you come up with the title?

With great difficulty and gnashing of teeth!

Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

Yes! Mostly that love and passion are not the soul property of the young. Getting older brings on challenges, but it doesn’t change your feelings about love, or sex or even your kink. And for all the twenty-something’s saying ‘ewww…’ there are more in their fifties, sixties, seventies and beyond saying ‘YES!’

Do you see writing as a career?

I’ll soon be retiring from my teaching career. I do tend to think of writing as my next career. Could I support myself writing? No, not now, but it’s way more important to me than just a hobby.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

Of course! I can’t imagine any writer re-reading a just published book where they wouldn’t want to change something. But I’m still happy with it.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

Quit waiting to get it ‘exactly right’ before you send the book off – especially the first one. If you wait until it’s perfect, it will be sitting in your computer when you’re on your deathbed. Take the leap.

Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?

Mostly I want to say something to those who haven’t read any of my books and that would be, ‘If you’re here because you have an interest in spanking and domestic discipline, please don’t be put off by the fact that Cassie and Tom aren’t in their twenties or thirties. If you are a lover of a love story first, with plenty of spanking on the side – then the Cassie Space books are for you. Please give one a try – jump in anywhere, you don’t have to go in order.’

What was the first live concert you ever attended?

Elton John and we Rocked round the Clock!

Jamie Franz Presents Sugar Magnolia #EggcerptExchange #Romance

Sugar Magnolia
By Janie Franz

Music journalist and artist Shivaun Corbin is on assignment at Sugar Magnolia, the Mississippi home of classic rocker Daniel Madux. She has been charged with creating a retro cover for Daniel’s latest album, a comeback CD that incorporates a more modern sound with his 70s rock. When she enters the household on this sprawling plantation, she encounters an odd assortment of characters with secrets of their own while she works hard to avoid being another of Daniel Madux’s conquests. Young instrumental protégé Connor is determined to protect Shivaun from Daniel’s pursuit. Shivaun is distracted by Connor’s attentions and those of one of the female backup singers as more secrets are revealed and the past comes rushing into the present. Sugar Magnolia offers an inside look at the music industry and one woman’s place in it.

Author’s Note:  I wish to thank Peter Himberger, of Impact Artist Management, Mac Rebennack (Dr. John), and Joe Lopez (Deploi) for allowing me to portray them in this work of fiction. I have the utmost respect for Dr. John and Deploi and hope their appearances here are an enhancement to their musical cannon.

And, a special thanks to all of the musicians I’ve interviewed throughout my career as a music journalist. I’m privileged to have had relaxed conversations with all of you.

EXCERPT:
Shivaun caught her breath when she saw the massive, four-posted bed tucked behind the door, draped in a white voile canopy with white, bed linens. A pair of bedside tables, also painted white, flanked the bed. There was no closet, but double French doors led out onto an iron-railed balcony.

Part of Shivaun rejected the fussy, feminine frills that were a part of the clichéd Southern charm tourists came to expect of the region. Still, it was a lovely room with its beige wallpaper with clusters of tiny red roses.

Shivaun set her camera and purse on the bed and propped her laptop case on the floor against the night table closest to the door. She moved around the large bed to fling open the French doors and stepped out onto the balcony. Oaks and willows along a muddy river framed a well-mowed lawn, stretching all around her. The garden shrubbery that dotted its surface needed pruning, and the blue hydrangeas, surrounding two concrete benches by the river, needed weeding. In the middle of the lawn, a nude sculpture of a young woman, with well-developed breasts, spouted water into an algae covered pool.

“That’s Daniel Madux’s virgin,” Connor said near her. “Probably the only one left.”

Shivaun jerked her head to look at him as he lounged against the rail beside her, looking over her head at the garden. “The sculpture or virgins?”

Connor shrugged. “Nothing remains pure around Daniel Madux,” he muttered, still staring out at the sculpture.

Shivaun raised an eyebrow. Seeing he wasn’t going to explain, she returned to her bedroom. “It’s very nice,” she told Madge. “It’s rather like the years passed over this place, like it could still be 1865.”

“It’s a great place to get away from everything,” Madge said. “That’s why Daniel likes it so much.”

“When do I get to meet the man?”

“Later, after you get settled. He’s out wandering the grounds, trying to collect his head. He partied pretty hard last night.”

She should have been prepared for that. She had been warned. She wasn’t sure how long they would let her be a voyeur, though. Her hard-drinking friends at the magazine didn’t like her sitting out their binges. Trying to be casual, she pulled out a stick of gum from her pocket, unwrapped it, and asked, “Drugs?”

“Beer and pot are all Daniel allows,” Conner explained as Shivaun rolled the gum into a circle and popped it in her mouth. “Occasionally, we get some local moonshine, but that stuff’s hard to come by. Daniel says if we use anything else, we can’t create…. He’s got a few more rules he’ll lay down when you meet him.”

Madge headed for the door. “We better let you get settled. The john’s across the hall. Sometimes, you have to bang on the door to get the room cleared…. Somebody’ll come for you when Daniel’s presentable.”

“Fine. I’m still living in another time zone and another climate. It’ll take me a bit to get used to the heat and the humidity here.”

As Connor followed Madge out the door, he called back, “Maybe we could have a toke together later.”

“Thanks, but no.” Shivaun smiled. “I quit smoking—anything—a long time ago. Gum’s my only vice now.”

“Only?” Connor asked. “You know I’ve got a coffee pot down there that’s more fun than you are.”

Shivaun gave him a big-sister look. “I came to work, not play.”
***
Connor swept his gaze over her body. “Yep. You’re a hybrid tea rose. It’s a damn shame…. Listen, if you’re hungry, come on down to the kitchen. I’m throwing something together for later anyway.”

She smiled at his invitation and thanked him as he left.  Alone, Shivaun sat on the edge of the bed and began to worry.  She got some really hard intel from an ex-roadie whose sole job had been to procure more than weed for Daniel Madux and his hangers-on. There had been coke and crystal meth and all sorts of prescription drugs. The guy did say Daniel cleaned up two or three years ago. But if Daniel were still using something, he could be one lost weekend away from spiraling down into that toilet again. Of course, getting detoxed would explain the year-long gap in his tour schedules she’d noticed.

Beer and pot. Who said pot anymore? These people didn’t behave like musicians she’d worked with before. They seemed to be players in a 70s sit-com, all caricatures of the music scene. The rest of them had to be as strange as these two.

How could she put up with this crazy household for almost a week?

Review:
“The characters were… well, hilarious! The cheeky bare a$$ed bass player/cook was just one of the characters that got me giggling. You’ll love Mama, the Reverend and all the others. Secrets unravel and things rapidly spiral out of control as the reader is taken along for the ride. If you want to journey into the world of retro rock stars you’ll enjoy this tale and it appears the author is very familiar with the music scene having reported on it as a journalist for many years.”

Excerpts:

When the door opened, Edward, Lucas and Molly saw that two corners were filled with two sets of quivering bottom cheeks exposed as drawers were pooled at ankles and dresses held at waists. In a third, Ettie stood, her hands at her sides. She was the only one to turn around at the door's opening.
"Pray tell why you have not prepared yourself properly, Henrietta. Is there some reason you feel it unnecessary to lift your dress and lower your drawers, young lady?" Molly said.
Ettie's eyes darted to the twins and then to the normally sweet woman standing before her, toes tapping against the floor, arms crossed over her chest. "Um, you never said that we were to, um…. I guess that Lucy and Louisa often… um, I mean, you just said stand in the corner."
Molly forced herself to remain calm. After a deep breath, she spoke. "Pardon me. It was my mistake in not making my orders clear. Turn around, Henrietta, because I did specifically state I wished your nose to be in the corner. Place it there immediately," she said firmly, and though Ettie gave her brother a pleading look, she reluctantly obeyed.

Maggie Ryan

Author for Blushing Books.  I write both contemporary erotica and historical spanking romances.  I enjoy writing about characters that enjoy the provocative D/S lifestyle of today’s times as well as taking a step back into the past to write stories that take place in the Victorian era with age-play as a theme.
I live in the great Lone Star state with my wonderful husband.  I have always loved reading.  Growing up in a family with four children, it was difficult finding a place to be alone.  I was probably one of the squeakiest clean girls on the planet as I would spend hours in the tub so I could read without being bothered.  It wasn’t long before I began to make up my own endings to the books I was reading.  From there, it just seemed natural to begin writing my own stories.
I never try to restrict myself to any one genre because there are just too many delicious possibilities out there and inside my head.  I admit to being somewhat of a romantic though as my stories always must have a great deal of love, passion, corporal discipline and, of course, great, mind-blowing sex.  I want my readers to be able to see, hear, feel and know the characters that I’m creating as well as I do when I bring them to life and transfer their stories to paper.  I want my women to be strong of character but also strong enough to know that submission given in love and trust to your partner does not make you weaker, it makes you far stronger.    I want my men to be sexy, strong, demanding alpha males who know how to take what they want while acknowledging it is a gift they have been blessed with by the women that have chosen to submit to them.  I want there to be no doubt that they truly would die for the other no matter how others might view their relationship.

Lessons in Love by @KRBwrites #EggcerptExchange #Romancenovel

Tagline:
His management style might not be HR approved, but he was the boss and she was his assistant. So, he set the rules.

Short Blurb:

Pam Weston didn't have many choices as far as employment went. Her prison sentence saw to that. With limited secretarial skills, and an even more limited budget, she never considered herself executive material. So, when she was ordered to report to the CEO of her company as his new personal assistant, she fully expected to be checking out the "Help Wanted" section of the paper before the day was over.

Robert Peterson knew his management style was not HR approved, but he believed in using the stick as well as the carrot. Employing the tenets of domestic discipline, he helped mold his personal assistants into confident women who recognized their own self-worth. Even so, his unorthodox methods were only one of the reasons many considered the position of his assistant to be a revolving door. To Rob's mind, Pamela Weston was perfect for his purposes, though given her past, he expected convincing her to agree to his program would be a challenge.

Excerpt:
Pam continues to talk to Mr. Peterson on the phone while she waits for the dinner he ordered her to be delivered.

Pam gave another harrumph, but sat down as ordered.
"That's two, my dear. Keep it up and you're going to get a lesson in manners a lot quicker than I planned."
"What are you implying?"
"Never mind. We’ll discuss everything tomorrow. I'm just warning you, I consider eye-rolling and harrumphing as forms of disrespect, for which I possess zero tolerance."
"You're right," she admitted, realizing she was being ungrateful after all he'd done for her. "I'm sorry. I'm being too familiar."
"No, Pam. That's not it. As we get to know each other better, I'll expect you to call me Rob when we're alone. So, it isn't the lack of formality I object to, it's the disrespect inherent in your actions. You're saying you'll do what I ask because I'm the boss, but since you don't agree with my reasons, you dismiss them as mere nonsense."
"So, I'm not allowed to disagree with you?"
"Okay, you're splitting hairs. Of course you may disagree with me, if you are so inclined, but I expect—no, I demand—you do so respectfully. Understand?"
"No, sir."
"You will. I intend to make all my expectations abundantly clear, so you’ll recognize when you cross a line that will get you in trouble."

Bio:

Lessons in Love is Kathryn R. Blake's sixth novel with Blushing Books, and fifth spanking romance where Domestic Discipline is primary to the plot.  Although Kathryn is relatively new to the spanking romance market, she is not new to stories where the hero spanks the heroine.  In fact, most of her novels have some sort of spanking in them.  However, even in Kathryn's novels where the hero firmly believes in using spanking as a deterrent, he has no desire to cause the heroine injury and takes no delight in hurting the woman of his heart.  In fact, sometimes he finds it extremely difficult to follow through on his threats or promises.
To date, all of her heroes are dominant, alpha males who are extremely protective of the women they love.  However, part of that protectiveness includes the need for a certain amount of control.  They do not suffer defiance or disobedience lightly. Even so, these men aren't infallible, and they do make mistakes, but love and respect will always triumph in the end.
Kathryn has been a member of RWA since the early 1980s and has joined several local and special interest chapters. Besides writing, Kathryn enjoys traveling, reading, attending the theatre, and is a passionate lover of animals, so much so that in 2015 a stray cat adopted her. The stray now sleeps in Kathryn's bed.  She has also recently taken up the expensive hobby of making and selling jewelry.
Her personal website, www.kathrynrblake.com, is filled with photos and links to information about her many interests as well as peppered with quizzes, contests, games and lots of other fun things to do and she loves to hear from her readers, so she has an e-mail link at the bottom of every page.

A Cowboy’s Pleasure

Naked Bluff, Texas series
Book 5

Blurb–

Having traveled across the country to escape the war between the states, John Bristol Smith needs a job, any job.
Told of a potential job, he arrives at the interview with high expectation. Nothing, however, in his life prepared him for the nature of this assignment. Tess Van Pelt wants excitement and she means to have it.
Her husband is more than willing to pay for whatever she wants and she wants John.
Is this a job or a fantasy?

Excerpt:

“Then tell him straight out what you’re after.” Gab carried the tray over to the table in front of the couch where his wife sat. He handed her a glass then walked the other drink to John.
“Shouldn’t we, at least, give him a little background on us first?” She queried.
After taking the glass, John stepped to a wingback chair and perched on the edge. “I’m sure whatever type of job you’re offering, I’ll be more than willing to work for you.”
Gab chuckled, “You’re right. Most men would, but this requires you not discuss anything that happens within these walls with anyone.”
“Can you do that, John?” Mrs. Van Pelt sipped her drink and her eyes undress him.
Uncomfortable with her probing inspection, he glanced at her husband. “I have no one to tell. Remember, I’m new in town.”
“Yes, you are a God sent. Tess, here, is getting a little restless. She’s used to getting what she wants right away. And well, I’m afraid I’ve kept her waiting too long.” Gab turned to his wife and smiled. “I must admit, now that you are here, I believe the plan has more merit than I previously gave it.”
“See, I told you. It’ll be just like old times.” Tess patted the spot next to her on the couch and her husband sat beside her.
Sorting through every possible job he could envision, John struggled to come up with the task they wanted to achieve. Mrs. Van Pelt seemed excited by the possibility of him working with them. So perhaps, they liked him and would want him to hire on for a few months, maybe even longer.
“Then I guess we better see if John is open to the idea of making love to you,” Gab said and lifted his glass. “So what do you say?”

Hobbled by her past, she couldn't embrace her future

Short Blurb:

When Jerry Douglas asks Elly Benson to marry him, he wants their ceremony to be as close to Valentine's Day as possible. Though Elly tearfully accepts Jerry's proposal without hesitation, as she readies herself for her second wedding, the doubts and misgivings of any new bride-to-be are exacerbated by the abuse she suffered during her first marriage. When Elly recalls how quickly her uncertain stomach jitters grew into tight knots of pain on her wedding day, she also remembers how and why she'd fallen in love with and married Arthur, her first husband. A mistake she regrets more and more with each passing hour.

Though she's lived with Jerry for four months now, and been subject to his discipline more than once, her first husband had been kind and careful with her, too, in the beginning. At least until she vowed to love, honor and obey him. And their move to Corbin's Bend turned him from the strict, but caring husband she thought she'd married into a monster she no longer recognized.

Excerpt :
Though Elly remains obedient when Jerry takes her temperature rectally, she refuses to tell Jerry how her ex-husband's abuse made her so nervous about any anal activity.

When the thin, glass tube was withdrawn, Elly breathed another sigh, this one of relief.
He chuckled softly at the sound. “Your temperature is a little elevated. Any other symptoms besides the headache?”
Shaking her head, she started to rise, but he placed a hand at the small of her back to hold her in position, then cleaned off her butt and the thermometer while she remained bent over his knees, reviewing everything she’d said and done.
“What’s our rule about honesty?” he asked in a tone that sounded casual and nonchalant, though Elly understood he was anything but.
“That I am not to lie to you for any reason.”
“Correct. And what did you do when I asked you what was wrong?”
“I deflected.”
He paused for a second. “Which is merely another way of saying you were trying to hide the truth, isn’t it?”
“I guess so.”
“You guess so?” The question emerged with an edge of sharpness, which immediately put Elly on the defensive.
“You’re busy enough without having me run whining to you over every little thing that goes wrong.”
She should have expected the swat that fell on her unprotected hindquarters, but the smack still robbed her of breath. “Ow.”
“I thought we discussed this through a few days ago. I thought you understood that I do not regard any of your problems as whining, and that I expect you to come to me whenever something is bothering you, especially if you suspect you’re not well.”
That had been one of their longer ‘discussions,’ during which Jerry made his point painfully clear. And, yet...
His hand returned to stroking. “I’m clearly not getting through to you, sweetheart. And though you’ve earned one, I’m not convinced a spanking is the answer, either.”
“I did come to see you,” she pointed out in her defense.
“Yes, you did, and that was good. However, you should have also told Kelly what was wrong, which you didn’t, and when I asked, you attempted to cover up the problem, which is unacceptable. I instituted that restriction for a reason, Elly, and you agreed to abide by the rules we established, so you can’t just ignore one when it pleases you. At least not without earning a consequence.”
Though his words were harsh, his touch remained soothing and gentle. He was upset with her for not being truthful, but concern always trumped disappointment. “I know,” she answered. Jerry’s consequences weren’t fun, but he was always fair.
“How’s your tummy? Are you nauseated at all?”
“No, sir.”
“A good sign. All the same, I want you to go to bed and rest for a bit.”
“But —”
“Do you want a spanking after all, young lady?” he inquired, cutting her off.
Elly winced and clenched her butt cheeks together. “No, sir.”
“Then what are you going to do?”
“I guess I’m going to lie down and rest for a bit.”
“Wise answer.” He helped her rise, then placed two hands at her waist and turned her to face him. “You and I will discuss this again, later tonight, after you’re better. Understand?”
