Can it ever get complicated.
I'm the son of the king of Ardenia. But scandal erupted when my dad left his queen to marry my mom.
So the current queen doesn't care much for me because her sister ended up committing suicide.
Not a great situation for gaining entry into my homeland.
And to add to the issue, I have an uncle that would prefer that I was dead.
Now, can you see why everyone calls me a scoundrel?
I'm a victim of my father's past.
But I have a way back into the queen's good graces.
I just need to win at cards and convince Kitty to travel with me to Ardenia.
