It's that time of year again when all the magazines tell us who was voted as the sexiest man for 2012.

I looked at these pictures which can be found at

and some of the men I don't even recognize.

Now, I know I can't be alone. Do you know the top 100?

I agree, there are a lot of men out there and so little time to get to know each and every one of them.

    Hugh Jackman
    and

    Anita's A Night Before Christmas

It was the night before Christmas
    and the house was quiet.

The prefect time for all naughty girls and boys to play.
So in white lace and red velvet,
a sexy girl stood near the decorated tree.

Her jolly young stud joined  her there,
all he wore was a small leather g-string.

"Now what should we do on this memorable night?"

A wicked grin covered his handsome face,
and he spread out a blanket on the carpet floor.

With fire burning hot in the fireplace nearby, he proceed to unwrap his sensuous gift.

and what to his wondering eyes should appear but two gorgeous tight peaks just begging for a lick, kiss, and a whole lot more.

A moan, a cry, a hungry "pleaseee" rang through the room.

And he couldn't turn down the offer of so much more.

She proceed to unveil the prize hidden beneath his shrinking g-string and cupped the gift in both of her hands.

"Oh, but I need to sample my special treat." She drew her tongue down the length and sucked on the end of the candy cane end.

He rocked and wiggle and begged for some relief, but she played and teased until he laid her down on his blanket on the floor. There they enjoyed the please of each other until they both screamed the words all the world was singing into the night.

"Merry Christmas my love, and may everyone enjoy what we did tonight."

    Have a good one,

    RT Bug-In - Hook Me

The Bug-In Hop is about being prepared for the future if society as we know it changes.
    Survival.
    No grocery store.
    Food at a shortage.

Where else can we get food? Some people could not go hunting if their life depended on it, but could catch a fish and eat it.

So let's look at what it takes to go fishing. Basic equipment can be as little as a stick, string, bait, and a hook.

Depending on how close you can get to the water, you might even just use a pointed stick to spear the fish, but for this article let's go with standing on the side of the lake with a fishing pole.

Okay, we all know there are rods and reels that can cast out into the middle of the lake, boats that you can ride in to get to the best spots, but for this article we are talking to people who know next to nothing about fishing.

So let's say you need to eat, food supply is short.

As a kid, I spend many hours using a cane pole to catch fish in my uncle's pond.

    Equipment -

    1. a pole about six feet long (can be short or longer depending on what you can find.)
    2. string can be nylon, yarn, made from cotton, but it need to be strong so as not to break if you catch a large fish.
    3. hook - if you can buy one great. If not, you can make one from a coat hanger, wire, (the end needs to be sharp to break through the fish's skin.
    4. bait - worms, crickets, grasshoppers, bacon, some type of meat- chicken skin, (the stinkier the better.)
    Assemble equipment -
    1. Tie string onto one end of the pole. You can either make a slit in the pole or bore a hole through the pole and feed the string through the hole to secure it to the pole.
    2. at the other end of the string, which usually need to be about six to ten feet in length, secure the hook.
    3. When securing the hook it is best to make sure you use the strongest knot you know.
    4. Test it by tugging on the hook to see if you can get it loose. (Depend on what type of string you are using you will need to check this every time before you go fishing. Cotton string rots.)
    5. Next feed your bait onto the hook.
    6. You are now ready to fish.
    Where and when to fish.

Any lake that is available may have fish in it. The bigger question is would you be will to eat the fish that comes out of the lake. Polluted ponds may not be an option. Check to see if there is oil or other chemicals floating on the surface if so, try somewhere else to fish.

Time - a number of things can dictate when is the right time of day to fish, impending weather can play a part, so can  temperature. If a storm is brewing, then head for the lake before it hits, because the fish know with rain, comes run-off and food. If it's cold outside you need to have more string because the fish are at a  deeper depth to keep warm.

Personally, I enjoy the challenge of fishing. It take very little equipment and is fun.

Once you catch a fish, be careful about removing the fish from the hook. Best to hold them behind the gills.
Also, remember to try to keep the fish alive until you are ready to cook them. If you can't keep them fresh, put them on ice or cook them right away on a fire next to the lake.

Hope this helps. Remember you don't have to spend a fortune on expensive equipment. Gather the things above and give it a go. You might fine you enjoy the sport even if the world doesn't end on Dec. 21.

Also, I'm giving away a copy of my book "Banished" for those of you who want to read about shapeshifters. Enter a comment and leave your email address. I will announce the winner. Dec.19 so you have plenty of time to enter.

One Day Book Blast - Lust After Death

    Lust After Death
    (Love-Bots, Book 1)
    by Daisy Harris

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    BLURB:
    In the Pacific Northwest, where life hurries to keep pace with technology, a re-animated bride named Josie struggles to escape her creator and to find her identity in the half-erased circuitry of her mind and body.
    Assassin Bane Connor just wants to get the girl to the Zombie Underground and receive his payoff-a mental reset that will erase his memories as well as his guilt. But an attack by a rival faction derails his rescue, and the wide-eyed female whose circuitry requires a husband tears at his hardened heart and ignites desire like he's never known.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Excerpt :

She peered down at her wet fingers, confusion etched on her angelic face, and then she gave her digit a tentative lick. Eyes wide with surprise, the girl fed her finger farther into the bow of her mouth.

Ho-ly shit! His body sprung to attention, his nerve endings strung taut as a bow.

Feeling like a peeping tom, Bane looked away from the window, assessing the pebbles below his crates and a nearby bank of leaves and weeds he could land on quietly. Then he gave a last glance through the window and noticed her hand caressing the water’s surface.

A fascinated smile played at her lips. Damn, she was beautiful, and not in some fake plastic surgery and programming way. She was fresh, shiny, new—like she held the keys to paradise.

Fuck, he was drunk. The crates wobbled underneath him and Bane let go of the windowsill with one hand, readying to jump. Really, he was leaving.

Her ivory hand slid up her hospital gown and tugged at the tie. The blue-striped, papery material sank from her shoulders to the floor, revealing a pale, slender body that seemed to shimmer under the bright bathroom lights.

Bane bit his bottom lip to stop from groaning out loud. His hips bucked forward of their own accord. The crates tilted to the side and he grabbed at the windowsill’s metal edging to right himself. His arms supported his weight and he trapped the top crate between his legs and pulled the pile back under his body, desperate for one more look. By the time he righted himself, the girl had turned her back on him to step into the tub.

If he’d thought the front of her was nice… Her back was long and delicate, her ass spectacular. Goose bumps rose on her skin and he could almost imagine the feel of them under his fingertips. The girl must have wondered about the water's temperature, because she bent forward at the hips to test it.

His right hand dropped to cup the bulge in his pants. He was a douche and a pervert. And he would jack off to this image for the rest of his undead life. Which, now that he thought about it, would only be a few more days.

However, her characters behave like complete sluts. Much to Miss Harris's dismay the sex tends to get completely out of hand.

Just released - Naked Rebel by Anita Philmar

A spy that prefers to work alone, Nick Royster’s assignment is turned upside down when his superiors sends him a personal companion. Not appreciating the need to watch someone else’s back, he attends a dinner of Salsar’s inner group. Only to learn, he has to sacrifice Rane to get the information he needs to end the war.

Rane knows the important of winning. Her family slaughtered by Salsar, this is her homeland and she plans to do whatever it takes to win her peoples’ freedom.

With everything on the line, can these two have any future together or does love and war equal heartache?

    Excerpt

A knock slam through Nick’s unit and woke him from a sensual dream, one where a soft, willing woman lay over him. He opened his eyes and stared at the golden-red lock of hair in his line of vision. A small hand pressed against the center of his chest and a naked body slid away from his.
“Nick, someone is at the door.” Rane soft voice broke through the appealing remnants of his fantasy with reality. “I can’t answer it, because my clothes haven’t arrived yet.”
He shifted his weight to the edge of the bed while she moved to other side next to the wall. “No problem, I’ll get it.”
    The banging noise started again.
“Hold on, I’m coming.” He retrieved his pants from the floor and stepped into them.
“I’ll wait here,” Rane said before he strolled out of the room.
He’d didn’t look back for fear of changing his mind about leaving. The chance of him getting any more time to satisfy his sexual cravings today were dwindling down to nil. The mine production schedule took precedent over his personal life.
After pressing the device to unhook the lock, Nick pulled open the door. Vince stood on the threshold, grinning. A large chest sat at his feet.
“Glad to see you can still walk.” Vince glanced around and peeked into Nick’s unit. “So where’s your companion?”
“In bed,” Nick grumbled and pushed the door almost close.
“Wait, I have your companion’s clothes here.” Vince pointed to the oversize metal trunk at his feet. “And a note from Salzar.”
“All right.” Nick opened the door and held it while Vince shoved the strongbox into his apartment. “Put it over there.” Nick pointed to the space in front of the couch.
Vince did his bidding then straightened and glanced around expectantly. “Aren’t you going to introduce me to your lady friend?”
“Not a chance. Now give me Salzar’s note and get the hell out.” Nick held out a hand and waited with his other hand on the door to close behind his manager’s ass.
Vince grinned and pulled an envelope from his pocket. “Can’t say that I blame you, but I couldn’t resist asking.”
He passed Nick the note and walked through the door. “And by the way, you don’t need to worry about the mine. I’ve got everything under control.”
“Good.” Nick slammed the door and tore into Salzar’s note.

Not A Possibility - Excerpt from Black Dragon's Blood

    Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share an excerpt of the very first book.

    Excerpt:

William blocked her path before she could take more than two additional steps; a gift of his blood to be able to react so quickly.

Her curse was to smell his heat, to know his need, to want him inside her, making her blood boil. Luckily, the human part of her nature controlled her actions, reminded her of past heartache.

"A woman with your level of dragon blood needs a man, needs to have his children." His strong hand circled her forearm. She sensed the heavy pulse of his blood beating against her tender skin.

"Not a possibility, William, even if I did agree to marry you." She tugged her arm from his grasp. "I’ve been married twice. In neither case did I have a child. With you, it would be no different."

His eyes narrowed to slits. "Are you telling me you’re unable to bear children?"

"You’re an intelligent man, William. What do you think?"

"Your father didn’t tell me this."

"Yes, well, why would he? It would have been counterproductive to his plan, wouldn’t it?" The angry tightening of his jaw told Amanda she’d gained her freedom.

Stepping around him, she slid the door open on the metal railing and stood for a moment staring at his back. Other more pressing business required her attention. If she was lucky, she could get home, pack and get out of town before William picked up her trail again.

"Good luck finding some other lady to meet your needs, William."

It’s a hard life living on the western plains. Elizabeth Murphy knows she lives it every day.

Just looking at him sets her body on fire, and with them sharing a small log cabin, the nights are bound to heat up. Can she resist the chance to take a ride with the cowboy? Or should she trust him at all?

After all, he thinks wearing a shirt is an optional item and he knows way too many facts about her dead gun slinging husband?

Anita's Spicy Holiday Secrets to Keep Your Love Life Hot

The holiday season is upon us and the demands for our time is higher than ever.

So coming up with ways to keep the magic alive in a relationship is more important than ever. Though, we may not have the energy or the time to deal with keeping the romance going.

Hey, we have a job, kids, family, and responsibilities. You’re working as hard as you can to just get through the day, much less worry about an exciting sex life.

I couldn’t agree more, but it doesn’t have to be a big production. Little changes in your routine can reap big rewards.
    - a kiss every your lover walks through the door or a odd time during the day.
    - a touch when your close, a light pat, a caress, a quick shoulder rub
    - fixing them a special meal
    - working time in your schedule to spend with them.
    - doing task together like shopping for gifts, washing the dishes, making the bed
    - a wink, a sexy glance, a secret smile.
    - a little gift (like a chocolate kiss a day.)

Spicing it up doesn't have to be a big production. It's the little things you do which take but a moment and show that you care that can show you care and build a solid relationship.

Have a fun filled day, full of love, joy and sex.

Anita's Naughty Ideas for the Weekend

    A few game to play.

    Do Everything but….

This can add suspense to your love life.

Agree to not let the evening end with intercourse.  You can touch, fondle, tease, stroke, etc, but knowing you can’t have something makes you want it that much more.

Just think what tomorrow can bring.  And if you get caught up in the excitement, yeah we won’t hold it against you.

    or maybe try

    Going commando.

Without underwear you are kept in touch with the erroneous zones of your body.  Men wear boxer so they can hang free.  Women should do the same to reduce the risk of vaginal infections and remind themselves that they have an appetite for sex too.

Just a few ideas to consider for the weekend,

    Also you might consider

    Confessions of a How-To-Write-Romance Junkie

Pssst. I’ve got a confession. I’ve had a life-long affair with pens and paper, books and…well, men.
So the day I combined them was like emerging from a fog. I remember the moment when the desire to become a writer first hit me. No, it wasn’t during a snowstorm, but a rather dull, quiet time in my life. A time when the voices in my head grew louder and refused to be ignored.
Imagine my relief when I discovered I wasn’t psychotic at all. Nor were the men I dreamed about a subconscious sign of an unhappy marriage.
Sharing the characters that lived in my imagination however, required a lot more nerve. These were fictionalized people that I’d conceived in my head and painstakingly attempted to paint on paper.
Not soon after submitting, the rejections started to fill my mailbox and with them came a growing uncertainty. Maybe I couldn’t write after all, at least not well enough to interest outsiders. So I turned to books, but not for pleasure. This time I was searching for power, for kernels of knowledge, guidance I could use to spin that golden yarn.
Anyone who’s ever searched this topic knows there are literally hundreds of books available on how to write a romance. Intense classes are taught everyday on ways to create three dimensional story people. ‘Dig deeper’ became a common phrase. Find the bones. Give your characters flaws. Develop personalities and conflicts that tug at a reader’s heart strings.
I explored hundreds of blog universities and websites all dedicated to the aspiring writer. I discovered- not mastered, mind you- how to write a strong opening and the importance of ending every chapter with a hook. I became pretty good at identifying POV and whose voice I should be listening to in any given scene. Notes covered my computer screen, ‘less is more’ and ‘use strong verbs’ ‘patrol for repeat offenders’ and ‘cliché alert!’
The first three to five years into this journey I devoured one ‘How-To’ book after another. Every time I’d hear someone recommend the easiest way to plot your novel, or how to revise and edit the current one, I’d get fidgety. I just knew my manuscript would sell if only I learned what such & such was demonstrating.
But all this research took time. Not to mention the number it did to my self esteem realizing there was still so much I didn’t know. Ten years and I was no closer to learning how to write than when I started. Rarely did I send manuscripts out anymore. I critically judged every line. The word count wasn’t exact, the characters were too edgy. Or worse, the requesting editor was no longer there.
The sands of time were piling up and sadly, my fire to write for publication had started to fade. I knew a manuscript needed to be fresh…original, capable of blowing some unsuspecting editor away with a WOW! A novel needed to grab the throat of a reader in the first paragraph, better - in the first sentence.
All of this left me feeling very small. My manuscript was far from perfect, not to mention in line with many established authors all competing for a contract. I felt defeated before even starting. In essence, I had become an old horse simply standing on the mark.
So what exactly was this article about and how does it relate to the title? Well, only that I’ve come to believe sometimes we can use research or the pretense of fine tuning our craft as an excuse not to fail. And it occurred to me…has anyone ever learned to swim without getting in the water? You simply have to get wet. Why didn’t I realize that before now?

I've always had my nose buried in a book and remember the day I was awarded my first library card. I went faithfully on Saturdays checking out my limit. And for awhile reading was enough, until the day it wasn't. For whatever reason, I picked up a pen and just wrote. And I've been at it ever since.

The last thing he expects is the attraction he feels seeing her on the back of Old Iron.

    BLURB:
A brutal attack left Lori Brockton convinced she was damaged goods. By the time she emerges from hiding two years later, ready to run her family's famous brewery, she's determined to be independent--never rely on anyone ever again. Nearly a year of working in every corner of Brockton Brewing Company, from warehouse to pub, front office to kitchen, teaches her all she needs to know about the business.

Then, she comes face-to-face with masculine perfection in a suit and her world is rocked in more ways than one. Garret Hunter is the new Brockton business manager who takes one look at the beautiful, sad young woman and his entire existence coalesces around winning her heart.

But standing between Garrett and what he believes is his true love, is a six-feet six-inch blond-haired bad boy brewer.

Eli Buchannan is a craft beer rock star, recently hired by Brockton to drag the company into the 21st century. He brings innovation and attitude plus a prima donna ladies man reputation.  But he's sworn off anything resembling commitment, personal or professional, after getting burned at his last job on both fronts.

Garret Hunter is “The Perfect Man” -- handsome, successful, stable, eager to settle down. Eli Buchannan... is not.  Compelling, smoking hot, creative and elusive, he represents everything Lori Brockton should avoid.  But just as she makes a difficult choice, a drastic life-changing shift occurs, and nothing is ever the same again.

    Excerpt:

Lori wrestled open the back brewery door, ears already ringing from the curses that echoed through the large, brightly lit room. The brewery boys, and three second brewers stood in a line, like they were in a marine barracks all looking as nervous as mice observed by a very hungry cat.

“And who the fuck,” boomed a voice, “might you be? No one told me there was a girl brewer in this place.”

As a reflex, Lori looked around, seeking out the girl who’d pissed off the faceless angry voice that must belong to Eli Buchanan their new master brewer. She’d been instrumental in convincing her father to hire the guy. He was a brewing celebrity, a genius, temperamental and prone to quit perfectly good breweries if the mood suited him. He was exactly what Brockton needed. They had to to get past their staid, complacent attitude in a rapidly changing craft beer environment.

“Yeah, I’m talking to you. The one who showed up fifteen minutes late for my morning staff meeting.” She flushed, frowning at the line of men, many of whom had worked for her father for years as they shuffled their feet and wouldn’t meet her eyes.  “Who the hell are you, and why are you on my brewery floor?”

She cleared her throat, squared her shoulders and channeled the anger building in her chest. “I’m Lori. Lori Brockton. This is the first day of my brewery rotation.” She hated how thin her voice sounded.

“Your brewery rotation eh?” She stepped back at the vision that emerged from between towering stainless steel fermentation vessels.  “What is this? Brewing Day Camp? I’m supposed to babysit the Brockton kids?” He glared at her, making her blink in the glare of his bright, steely blue gaze. Eli Buchanan was larger than life. At least six foot five, with long blonde hair held back by a small piece of leather. Clad in light blue jeans and a Brockton Brewing grey t-shirt, the span of his shoulders and definition of his torso forced an exhale from Lori’s lips. He kept quiet as her eyes took him in, from rubber boot clad feet to the light red hair covering his jaw. “Well? See anything you like?”

“Uh, no, I mean, it’s not camp. I mean, you are…I’m…” she stuttered, then stopped. The man stood stock still, glaring as if challenging her. She stood up straighter. “I’m here for the next six months to learn this part of the business. You know, so I can be your boss someday.” The man frowned at her. She frowned back.

Then he tilted his head back and laughed, stepped into her personal space and smacked her ass so hard she yelped. “I look forward to that day girl Brockton. Yes, I do.” A couple of the men started forward as if to protect her but she waved them back. This asshole had another thing coming if he thought she’d be intimidated by him. As much as she might have been at one point, something about him was as non-threatening as Garrett, but in a different way—a much more spine-tingling way.

The following ten hours of back breaking work nearly made her throw in the towel. But after an hour scraping out the last of a twenty barrel’s worth of wet, heavy spent mash—the leftover grains from a batch of beer made on their smaller system, she felt sore as hell, but invigorated. The smells, sounds and sights of this place, the heartbeat of the entire operation, the reason all three hundred of her father’s employees came to work every day, this she loved.

“Brockton!” An angry voice behind her made her jump and turn. Wet, sticky malt grains dripped from her face where she’d accidently splashed some onto herself as she cleaned out the large vessel. She swiped at them, smearing even more of the mess across her cheeks. Without warning, Eli wiped her face with a clean white towel, his touch surprisingly tender, lingering longer than necessary. But his frown stayed stuck in place.  She stepped away from him even though her body reacted, compelling her to move closer.

“Some guy in a tie is looking for you,” he jerked a thumb over his shoulder but didn’t move. Lori had no experience with hypnosis, but she’d swear at that moment he’d done it to her. They locked eyes, then the sound of harder heeled shoes on the concrete floor forced her look past him. Garrett’s bright smile was familiar, yet strange in the highly charged environment.

“I’m actually here to see you, Eli.” Garrett stuck out a hand and the other man looked at it, glancing over to Lori then back over before gripping it without a smile. “Glad to have you on board.”

Eli took his hand back, and swiped at it with the towel he’d used on her face. If he noticed the rude gesture, Garrett didn’t indicate it in the slightest. Impressed, Lori moved a step closer to him and glared at the tall, blonde man.

Eli shot her an unfathomable look, but spoke to Garrett. “Sorry, but no suits in the brewery. Wouldn’t want to get you messy.” He walked away, waving over his shoulder. “Glad to be on board, boss, thanks.” The sarcasm dripped from his words like venom. Garrett turned to her, his handsome face calm, as if the odd exchange with the rude employee had never happened.
