Eye Candy Which Sparks a Fantasy
Sexy Comments & Profile Graphics
Now after looking at a picture like this, a cowboy fantasy has to come to mind.
Boys get your cowboy hat and put on your tight jeans. Girls get ready to ride.
Still not sure how you want to play this game. Just think about the scene in Smoky and the Bandit, Burt would only take off his hat for one thing.
Save a horse, ride a cowboy.

New Football Season
The NFL season should be fun this year with the referees strike.
I can't blame them for walking out. They have a thankless job, but they are needed to keep the mayhem from exploding.
Hopefully, the NFL can work it out because not just anyone can be a referee.

Thank you, James Garner
Born in Norman, OK, Jim joined the merchant marines at the young age of sixteen. After winning a purple heart, he went on to do a number of jobs. He worked in New York and established himself as an actor.
Instead of telling you all the facts about him, I'll just say. The man has brighten many days for me with his cleaver sense of humor. I've enjoyed his movies and television shows. He is one awesome man.

New Book by Emily Sinclare
Sparks fly when legendary actor Bradley Moore stumbles into witty, romantically minded flight attendant Betty Hammond while boarding her flight. Neither expects the immediate, incendiary attraction that flares between them, nor can they resist indulging in some intimate contact while in the air.
But once on solid ground again, reality comes calling. Betty is a flight attendant, Brad is a major movie star. Despite the challenges, Brad finds himself drawn to Betty’s wicked wit and unflagging humor, and the fact that she’s completely unaffected by his celebrity status. Betty can’t resist Brad’s down-to-earth side. And even long after their midair encounter they find themselves unable to deny an intense mutual passion that reaches beyond the boundaries drawn by Hollywood’s rules.
As their relationship strengthens Brad and Betty begin to wonder if they are willing to bet that the feelings growing between them will be enough to beat the odds and keep them together, or if they’re going to fall like so many other couples who have found themselves in Hollywood’s spotlight.

New Review for Texas Passion
Blurb -
After a long cattle drive to Abilene, Trent McCall just wants to unwind. But in his absence, his father’s been making wedding plans…for Trent. The last thing he needs is a spoiled and pampered socialite for a wife. What he needs is a hard drink and a willing woman. An uncomplicated woman who understands a man’s need for release after a hard ride. Good thing he’s got one waiting for him.
Four years back East haven’t changed Catherine Turnberry’s mind. Her heart is set on neighboring rancher, Trent McCall. When an end-of-the-trail party threatens to put him in the arms of another woman, Catherine grabs the bull by the horns. Weekend Read Hog-Tied and Branded
Excerpt
With a quick lunge, Clint caught her wrist and stopped her retreat. “Rumor has it that you’re thinking about not renewing my contract on your land.” His face, at the same level as hers because of his position on the stairs, held a worried frown. “I need to know if it’s true so I can start looking for a new place to run my cattle.”
Anger flashed through Suzi along with disappointment, and she started to shake. What made her think he’d apologize for how things ended between them and want to reconcile?
No, as always his only concern was for his damn cows.
“Well, I’ll tell you the same thing I told Mr. Perkins when he asked me. I haven’t decided, but when I do, I’ll let you both know.” She lifted her hand to dislodge his grip and his hand fell away, only to land at her waist.
He stepped up in front of her and held her close. “God, I’ve missed you.” His gaze burned with a fire that shot heat straight to her core. “Don’t get mad. I need a taste.”
Warm lips settled over hers, soft and inviting, brushing repeatedly against her mouth, demanding entrance until she couldn’t hold out any longer and had to surrender.

Exercising - Work it in
I'm trying a new schedule for exercising. Okay, so I'm like millions of others I work at it a while, then take a break and then start up again.
I'm not in the best shape ever, but I try to stay at a certain level.
So here's some ways of working exercise into your day.
Hey, you need to get up from your desk to go to the bathroom. Why not do a few stretches to work out the cinks?
Listening to music -- why not try out a few dance moves -- swing those arms, do a little twirl?
Fixing dinner -- a few legs lifts - just raise your knees or do a few side raises.
Adding a few things here and there still work the muscles.
Yeah, it was just a thought.

Oldest Nut - But Still Used for Love
Almonds were being collected from the wild by the inhabitants of Franchthi Cave by 10,000 BC,
Almond Roca Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 Tbsp light corn syrup
1/2 lb butter (2 sticks - NO substitutes!)
1/2 lb. slivered almonds (2 cups)
1/2 lb. bar of regular Hershey's dark chocolate (7 oz okay)
Method
Do not attempt to make this on a humid or rainy day. Do not double the recipe, make one batch at a time.
1 Melt butter with sugar, syrup and water in a pan (such as a large non-stick frying pan) on medium to medium-high temperature. Stir continuously with a wooden spoon. When butter is melted, add the almonds.
2 When mixture comes to a rolling boil, set your timer for a minimum of 10 minutes and keep stirring (no more than 15 minutes). The mixture will thicken and turn darker in color. The almonds will roast. Keep stirring and cooking until you hear it crackle. If you don't cook it long enough it will not harden, so keep stirring and listen for the crackling sound.
Elise's note: I have found it very hard to distinguish between the boiling sound and the crackling sound in this recipe. A better guideline for me is by color. When the mixture turns a warm amber color, at about 11 or 12 minutes into the boiling, that's the time to pour it out. Wait too long and it will burn.
If you try to make this, please read all the comments listed below. It's actually trickier than one would think.
3 When the mixture crackles, pour the mixture out onto a large cookie sheet and spread it as thin as possible with a fork. While it is still hot, break up the chocolate into chunks and distribute it over the almond mixture and let it melt. Spread it evenly on the top.
4 Let it cool to room temperature. When cool you can lift the whole thing off the pan and break into small pieces.
