Chocolate Craving?

We all crave chocolate at one time or another.

So why not have some fun and create a few items to indulge in?

1 bag of chocolate chips

dried fruit

favorite nuts

Now put a half of cup of chocolate chips in the microwave.

Cook it for about 15 seconds.

Stir,

repeat cooking for about 10 seconds

Repeat until completely dissolved.

Then try dipping different items like the dried fruit in the chocolate mix.

My favorite is to take melted chocolate, shredded coconut and walnuts. I mix them together and make my own candy bar.

If you want it hard, just set it in the refrigerator for several minutes. (This doesn't work for men, cold doesn't get them hard, go figure.)

Feel free to share.

Have fun,

Have Fun Tonight!

Want to have fun tonight?

Why not rent a movie, have some chocolate-covered strawberries and a glass of wine.

The stage set, enjoy some time to yourself or enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a friend.

Here's the quick recipe for Chocolate covered strawberries.

1 bag of Chocolate Chips (milk chocolate or semi-sweet)

1 tablespoon of shortening
1 lb. of strawberries.

Mix chocolate and shortening together in a microwave safe dish. Then microwave for about 15 to 30 seconds and stir. Repeat this process until the chocolate is completely melted.

Dip dry strawberries in chocolate and lay out on wax paper.

Have a great evening,

Anita
