TITLE: BLACKMAILED, VIRGINIA BLUEBLOODS SERIES, BOOK
4
RELEASE
DATE: JULY 14, 2016
PUBLISHER: BLUSHING BOOKS
GENRE: EROTIC SPANKING ROMANCE
Thank you for having me today. BLACKMAILED ends my four book Virginia
Bluebloods series with Wes’s story. I’m
so thrilled with the success of this series-readers wonderful comments have
made the past year of hard work worth every moment! All four titles can be read as stand-alone
books, but, of course, I recommend reading all four!
BLURB:
Charlotte
Heffington can no more ignore Wes Montgomery's coercion into a short affair
than she could forget the erotic experiences he gave her their one night
together. After several exciting,
pleasure-filled trysts, she starts questioning whether she would be able to
walk away unscathed and accept the future her cousin has mapped out for her or
be left to crave the pleasures only Wes could give her. When Wes turns on her, she’s finally had
enough of others manipulating her life and vows to take control of her future.
Wes swore
off relationships after a betrayal left him bitter towards women, but he
reluctantly finds himself drawn to a woman who looked completely out of her
comfort zone when she walked into a downtown bar one Friday night. After caving to her inexperienced come-on and
his uncharacteristic response, he spends an unforgettable night with her. A week later, a chance meeting reveals her
true identity and he feels taken in all over again. In a rash move, he blackmails her into an
affair that turns the tables on him when he finds himself feeling things for
her he’s never felt for another woman.
Hearing she’s engaged shatters his belief in happily ever after again
and his angry tirade when he confronts her separates them on a bitter
note.
After
learning the truth, Wes tries to make amends, but when that fails, he resorts
to drastic, pleasurable means to convince her to give him another chance, but
will it be enough?

DISCLAIMER:
This book contains the spanking of adult women, explicit sexual scenes
including BSDM. If any of these offend you, please do not purchase this book.
EXCERPT : This scene takes place
in a hotel elevator on their way to her room for a one-night stand.
“Did
I mention I insist on being in charge?
Like this.” He took her mouth
again, his assault deep and hard, her response quick and eager. Slipping his hand under her skirt, he
caressed up her smooth thigh until he reached a surprisingly full, soft
buttock. With his mouth glued to hers,
he kept her busy with his tongue as he delved inside her panties and lowered
them to just below her ass. Then got her
attention with a hard swat on one buttock.
Surprise
more than the sudden sting from his slap had Charlotte jerking her head back,
the warmth spreading over her cheek matching that covering her face. “What was that for?” she asked, praying her
voice didn’t reveal the shocking pleasure spreading from her tingling butt down
to her sheath.
“A
little example of what I’ll do if you don’t give me the control I’ll insist on
when we get to your room. Think hard and
fast-what the hell is your name?”
She
couldn’t help it. She giggled like a
teenager on her first date instead of a grown woman about to have raunchy sex
with a complete stranger. “Charlie,” she
told him, liking the sound of her abbreviated name, and liking him, gruff
exterior and all.
Pressing
the Start button on the elevator panel, he responded with a wry grin tugging
the corners of his mouth. “I’m Wes,
and,” he squeezed the buttock he slapped, “if you don’t want those doors to
open on your exposed, red ass, I suggest you answer me. Fast.”
Charlotte
could think of only one way to respond to the rough urgency she heard in his
voice, the same rough urgency spreading through her, brought on by that
stimulating smack and threatening to send her spinning out of control
soon. “Yes, I’m sure.”

QUESTIONS:
Are you
working on a new book right now?
I have just
finished an erotic spanking/menage suspense and am starting a Virginia
Bluebloods Christmas novella next.
How many
books have you written? Are they all spanking fiction?
Blackmailed
was my 20th book! All of my
books contain erotic spanking scenes.
What inspired you to write your first book?
I had been reading spanking erotica for a while and finally
got tired of reading the same thing over and over-bratty girl gets punished,
complains and cries through spanking then acts up again and again. I wrote Susie’s Awakening to show the
difference between erotic spanking and disciplinary spanking. Even though I’ve written numerous scenes
where the spanking started out as a punishment, it always turns into erotic
foreplay, most times surprising my female character with her response to the
stimulating pain.
Do you have a specific writing style?
Yes-I include both the male and female character’s points of
view when writing, most times in the same scene. In the ten years I’ve been doing this, I’ve
only received 2 negative comments-all other reader & reviewer comments on
this style have loved it.
Can you share a little of your current work with us?
The book I just finished-still untitled!- is about a sister
determined to find clues to her sister’s disappearance and the sheriff and
Scotland Yard detective who don’t want her interfering with their
investigation. Not only can she not
resist getting involved, she also can’t resist either of these guys or her
response to their means of keeping her line!
Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your
writing?
Dialog. I’m a quiet
person by nature-would rather listen than converse-so I struggle with dialog,
especially lengthy conversational scenes.
Who is your favorite author and what is it that really
strikes you about their work?
Linda Howard-she is so good at blending suspense, romance,
humor and hot sex scenes! I get it all
with her books.
Do you have to travel much concerning your book(s)?
We traveled extensively when the kids were younger, both
throughout the states and abroad and I was a military brat and lived in several
places growing up. I pull on those
experiences mostly for my locations.
Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your
readers?
Thank you! I love hearing
from you-both good and bad.
What were
the challenges (research, literary, psychological, and logistical) in bringing
it to life?
In
Blackmailed, as well as the rest of the series, I chose to challenge myself by
giving the female character’s difficult physical challenges to work with. In Blindsided, Eve is blind; in Bind Me To
You, Camille has dealt with a stillborn baby and cruel rejection from its
father; in Surrender To Me, Shea’s story was the hardest as she needed pain to
divert her from her OCD; and in Blackmailed, Charlotte led an over-protective,
sheltered childhood because of childhood leukemia. These made for huge challenges when it came
to deciding on the erotic content-which I enjoyed but not sure I can be as
successful if I try anything similar again!
What was
your favorite chapter (or part) to write and why?
My favorite
chapters are always the first and last.
I love the initial challenge and excitement of that first meeting-and
first spanking!-and, of course, the moment when my couple has resolved all
their differences.
A FEW
PERSONAL INSIGHTS:
If you were attending a Halloween party, what would your
costume be and why?
Raggedy Ann because my husband and I’s first part we attended
as ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ we went as Raggedy Ann & Andy-wonderful
memory.
Are you a morning or night person?
Morning-I crash early!
What is the best thing you have done in your life?
Married my husband and had our daughters.
What are
your favorite hobbies?
Reading-DUH!-and
I love working puzzles of any kind.
Do you
believe in love at first sight?
No, but I do
believe in lust at first sight!
Does Prince
Charming exist?
Yes, I’m
married to him.
Do you use a pseudonym? If so how did you
choose it?
Yes. BJ are my initials and Wane is my husband’s
name (Wayne).
Thanks for sharing,
Anita
